What Your Favorite Childhood Disney Show Says About You
October 15, 2021
As a child, everyone had a favorite Disney Channel show. Maybe you liked the show because you related to the characters, or maybe you dreamed you could be like one of them. In the Tilghman Bell, we find it interesting how there may be a connection between what your favorite Disney show was growing up, and your overall personality and character traits now. We asked Tilghman students to choose their favorite between five childhood shows: “Hannah Montana,” “Jessie,” “The Suite Life of Zach and Cody,” “Phineas and Ferb” or Good Luck Charlie. We had one hundred one responses and these are the results.
“Phineas and Ferb” had the highest favoring, with 35 percent of people selecting it as their favorite. If this was your favorite show, you are most likely known as the fun and spontaneous friend, who is always down for any adventure. An active imagination is common in those favoring “Phineas and Ferb,” as well as intelligence.
“Jessie” was runner up, with 20 percent of people selecting it as their favorite. If you loved the fun and heartwarming story of Jessie, you are probably considered the “mom friend” of your group, are always prepared, but still like a little risk now and then. You have more than likely always dreamed of having a big family when you grow up, and wanted to or still are chasing dreams of living in New York City, just like Jessie and the Ross family.
If you were the 16 percent that chose “The Suite Life of Zach and Cody,” you are really fun too, but a bit mischievous. You are kind at heart, and never lost the little kid in you. You are now the class clown, and a likeable person. Everyone loves you and you always know how to make someone’s day brighter.
If you were the 15 percent that chose “Good Luck Charlie,” you wanted to be a YouTube star when you grew up. You also wanted a big family, but you might’ve been an only child. You are a very dependable person now who always has others’ backs. You also have a big heart and are very generous towards the ones you care about.
If you were the 14 percent that chose “Hannah Montana,” you are the life of the party. You are a fun and energetic person, and you definitely made slime when you were younger. You love karaoke battles, and you wanted to either be an actor or a famous rock star when you grew up. Now that you are older, you have a deep appreciation for people who can keep secrets.
