Interact Club is centered around volunteer work and giving back. Mr. Steve Rich is the sponser. Interact is under Paducah’s rotary chapter, and also operates closely with Starfish Orphan Ministries, who provide the team with multiple volunteer opportunities. The goal is to raise awareness and to provide help to communities in need. 

In this club, students have numerous opportunities to volunteer and give back to their community. They participate in many local volunteer opportunities, such as Build-a-Bed, JDRF diabetes walk and Monster Mash 5k Bash. Students will even have the opportunity to go on a mission trip to El Salvador through Starfish. Throughout the school year students involved in this club will hold fundraisers and raise money for the club, club-sponsored events and the El Salvador trip.  

Students who go on the El Salvador trip will participate in a number of volunteer opportunities. Some activities include building a home for a less fortunate family, spending time at orphanages and feeding the homeless. It gives students the realization of how blessed they are in their normal lives. Going on this trip is a wonderful experience and will teach students many valuable life lessons. 

This club is an amazing opportunity for students that need service hours for other clubs or students that just enjoy giving back.
