Ashlyn Story

Paducah Tilghman High School’s homecoming game was Friday, October 15 against Union County. Through the forecasted wind and storms, our team fought hard against the Braves but came up short with a final score of 21-19. October 15th was also senior night, as well as the crowning of our football homecoming king and queen.

Although the homecoming dance meant to follow the game was cancelled due to the weather, most students still had a fun night of dressing up, taking photos, and spending time together.

We had an outstanding group of students nominated to homecoming court this year: Trinity Henderson, Jaliyah Allen, Maddie VanderBoegh, Jai’onna Crumble, Na’kyra Clark, Brenda Taylor, Luke Birdsong, Jadon Hart, Hunter Shelby, Davis Rowton, Justin West and Jequan Warren.

Our 2021 Football Homecoming King and Queen were Trinity Henderson and Luke Birdsong. Trinity Henderson has been on the Tilghman Cheer team for three years. She is planning on attending WKCTC and then Murray State to major in nursing. She is looking forward to going to work and meeting amazing people and has absolutely loved being a part of Paducah Tilghman High School.

Luke Birdsong has been a part of the high school track team since his 7th-grade year and has attended the state meet every year since. At the 2021 2A State Track Meet, he came in second place in the 100m, and third place in the 200m. Birdsong enjoys watching movies, listening to music and spending time with his friends. He plans on attending college and majoring in Sports Medicine.

Congratulations to our 2021 seniors, our 2021 PT Football Homecoming Court and our Homecoming King and Queen!
