Student Commentary: The Perfect Jean Hunt

Liliauna Nichols

The perfect pair of jeans is extremely hard to find. Especially for women, you spend a lot of time looking for the perfect pair. Some of the things you look for in the perfect jean is whether you like them lose or tight. You also must make sure you get the perfect size because sometimes they will fit around your waist but won’t fit your legs correctly. You also want to make sure they’re comfortable and you can easily move in them.

Some of the places you can look for the perfect jean are American Eagle, Old Navy, Abercrombie and Hollister, although these places can be a bit expensive. It’s super annoying when you find the perfect pair and they are over your budget. I asked some of my friends to describe their perfect pair of jeans.

Alex Baeza (11) described hers as a skinny jean but lose at the ankle. She found hers at Abercrombie.

Olivia Ladd (11) described her as tight at the waist but lose on legs, also known as a mom jean. She found her perfect pair at American Eagle.

There are tons of different styles of jeans. Mom jeans, skinny, bell bottom, bootcut, straight cut and boyfriend are just some of the different styles. Personally, my favorite is skinny, but I also really like mom jeans. Finding your perfect pair is an instant confidence-booster. So, if you cannot seem to find your perfect pair of jeans, keep looking. It’s out there somewhere.
