Paducah’s Small Business Saturday 2021

Small Business Saturday is an annual national shopping holiday first celebrated in 2010. Nestled between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, this holiday celebrates small businesses and encourages the community to shop locally.

Downtown Paducah will participate in the festivities on November 27th. There will be 65 restaurants and stores, including 13 new businesses to explore. Live music, strolling carolers and costumed characters will set the scene for a perfect day of shopping. Shoppers can snap a photo with Santa or make s’mores at the Yeiser Art Center. The River Discovery Center will also be offering a kids day camp from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Click here for an interactive map of downtown Paducah’s local businesses. Click here for more information regarding Paducah’s Small Business Saturday.

Shopping small during the holiday season helps sustain businesses that are the backbone of the Paducah community. “Many businesses, including MAKE, are trying to come back from closures and limited hours due to COVID. This is a great opportunity to get out, see people you know and find lots of cute stuff,” said Kijsa Housman, owner of the small business, MAKE Art Studio. MAKE offers a great opportunity to make your own presents, which is a meaningful experience after these hard times!
