Student Commentary: Fall and Winter Drinks You Need to Try From Etcetera

Fiona Caywood

Etcetera is one of the most popular coffee shops around town, especially among Tilghman students. It serves as a great setting for hanging out, doing homework or just chilling out. As the weather gets progressively colder, there are a few drinks you should consider ordering, as suggested by an Etcetera Barista.

Dirty Chai- Their house-made chai is the perfect way to get into the fall spirit. It is mixed with hot milk, espresso and Ghirardelli chocolate. You can also get this drink served frozen, which is one of Etcetera’s most popular orders.

Spanish Latte- If you enjoy sweet drinks, you will love the Spanish latte. It is a rich, sweet latte with sweetened condensed milk. This drink, served hot, is definitely a solid order this winter.

Sea Salt Caramel Mocha- Another one of Etcetera’s most ordered drinks, is a latte flavored with caramel, a bit of chocolate and a pinch of sea salt.

Huyck Farms Apple Cider- This cider comes from Etcetera’s favorite local farm. It is freshly pressed and the ideal drink for this fall.

Hot Chocolate- Of course, this winter classic had to be included. Their hot chocolate is made of melted chocolate, hot milk, whipped cream, and marshmallows. If you are ready ti get in the Christmas spirit or are out on a chilly day and need something to warn you up, Etcetera’s hot chocolate is the move.

So next time you go to our classic coffee shop, consider trying out one of these fall and winter friendly drinks.
