January is coming to an end. Time for this month’s music recap! Starting with Gunna, who stayed all over the Billboard’s top 10 this month! With the release of his newest album “DS4EVER” debuting at number one and selling over 150,000 units within the first week. As of the writing of this, Gunna’s song “Pushin’ P” featuring Future and Young thug sits at number seven on the Billboard top 10. Gunna remains at the top of the music industry this month with an arguably perfect start to the year! 

Young and upcoming artist Cordae dropped his second album “From a Birds Eye View” on Jan. 14. Cordae’s track list includes many new and old icons such as Gunna, H.E.R, Lil Durk, Stevie Wonder, Nas, Eminem, Roddy Ricch, and even more! Cordae also plans to go on tour, with his first show on February 3rd in Dallas, TX. Cordae continues to grow his skill and knowledge as he sets his stone in the rap game. 

These two albums lead the entire month of January; however, others are not to be ignored. More upcoming albums include Kanye West Donda 2, set to release Feb. 22, NLE Choppa’s Me vs. Me releasing Jan. 28, and many other projects set to release in mid-February.
