Homecoming Spirit Week 2022

Maddie VanderBoegh

Spirit Week is always loved by students and staff. This Spirit Week marks Tilghman’s third one of the 2021-22 school year. The themes are created and decided on by the pep club leaders and Miranda Cooper.

Monday started off strong with Disney vs. Marvel. This theme was pretty self explanatory and had so many students participating.

Tuesday followed with Meme Day. Fewer students participated in this one due to the fact that not many people understood the meaning of it. However, the ones who did dress up got extremely creative with their ideas.

Wednesday was Jersey Day. This one was a more simple theme that had many students partaking in the spirit theme.

Thursday was Tie-Dye Day. Students dressed in their best attire including tie-dye sweatshirts, t-shirts and even jogging pants.

Finally, Friday was BLUE OUT! Each student in the school participated in this theme even if it meant wearing an old school shirt they pulled out of their drawer.

Tilghman has always been a school full of spirit, and spirit week never fails to show that. With this potentially being the last spirit week of the 2021-22 school year, students and staff made sure to show out and show their Tilghman Pride!
