On Feb. 5 and 6, Paducah Tilghman High School competed in the regional mock trial tournament.

Cameron Dorris was named best attorney and Gloree Nell Wood was named best witness. The regional competition was held over Zoom, but that did not stop our team from excelling. The team finished in third advancing to the state competition. This places PTHS among the top 16 schools in the entire state.  

The state competition is to be held March 4-6, and as of right now will be held in person at Lexington.

Mock Trial Team members include Dana Hernandez, Frannie Hideg, Cameron Dorris, Renee Chua, Kennedy Garrat, Gloree Nell Wood, Gage Gottman, Meghan Gruber, Jeslee Johnson, Maddie Duwe, Ellie Farley and Maya Romanak.  

As we wish our students luck for the state competition, be sure to consider joining mock trial while at Tilghman.
