Sunday, Feb. 20, marked the NBA’s 71st All-Star Game. Team Lebron’s starting five consisted of LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Stephen Curry, Demar Derozan and Nikola Jokic. They faced off against Team Durant’s starting five of Joel Embiid, Ja Morant, Jayson Tatum, Andrew Wiggins and Trae Young. The All-Star game was hosted in Cleveland, and was headlined by the Skills Challenge, Dunk Contest and Three Point Contest.

Team Cavs, led by point guard Darius Garland, took home the dub in the Skills Challenge and represented from their city. Obi Toppin (Knicks) capitalized on his second chance in the Dunk Contest, defeating rookie Jalen Green, and 2nd year guard Cole Anthony.

Stephen Curry took home the All-Star MVP award and deservedly so. Curry put up 50 points and set a new All-Star game record with 16 3-pointers. Team LeBron took home a well fought win, with the game winning shot hit by LeBron himself. Team LeBron remains 4-0 in the All-Star game! We’ll see if they can be stopped next year in Salt Lake City!
