Lily Holm Named the Paducah Bank Teen of the Week

Lily Holm, a Paducah Tilghman senior, has been selected as this week’s Paducah Bank Teen of the Week. Holm is very active at her school and in the community, and her achievements and career aspirations are being recognized by Paducah Bank.

During her time at Tilghman, Holm has participated in many clubs. She has played varsity soccer throughout all four years of her high school career, and she especially likes “the family that comes with it.” Holm is also a founder of the newly improved pep club. Her dedication and effort could be seen at every single game. She helped create the fun themes, led the cheers, and her flawless artistic talent could be seen on each one of the banners she designed. Holm is also a member of the Tilghman Bell, National Honor Society and Sustainability Club.

Outside of school, Holm is very involved at Lotus Children’s Advocacy and Sexual Violence Resource Center and Make Art Studio. She volunteers at Lotus and helps to organize some of their events. She currently serves as their teen representative for Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Holm will be at Lotus’s big event on April 23, which is a free event open to anyone. The event starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m. There will be music, food, therapy dogs, yoga and so much more.

One of Holm’s greatest attributes is her drive. When she has a goal in mind, she doesn’t stop until she reaches it. Not only is she driven, but she uses that drive for the benefit of others. Her selfless nature causes her to go above and beyond when it comes to uplifting and inspiring others. Her current plan is to attend the University of Louisville and major in psychology. After college, she plans to get a doctorate in psychology and eventually open her own practice.
