Jack Butts, Sports Editor

This past week Future dropped his new album, his first in two years. The album features 22 songs and includes features from Kanye West, Lil Durk, Drake, Lil baby and Kodak Black.

One song featured on TikTok has gained fame for the catchy beat and lyrics. “I Never Liked You” was Future’s eighth number one album and earned over 222,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in a week. This album was Future’s largest selling album in seven years and passed his album “High Off Life” by more than 70,000 units sold and is only behind his album “What a Time to Be Alive,” which was co-produced with Drake.

This latest album was his 15th project to appear in the Billboard top 200 and was the largest selling album in a week after Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy.” Future is now in fifth place for rappers with the most number albums with eight.

Tilghman juniors Coy Booker and Sloane Edwards both agree that “Wait For U” (featuring Drake) is their favorite song and the song has also topped charts.
