The second Oscar Cross Local Licks Festival was in Paducah past Saturday, Sept. 10, at Paducah Beer Works, to raise money for the Oscar Cross Boys and Girls Club.

There were six live bands, including Broken Record, Jaelon Harris, Soul Dogg, A Different Sound, Groove Lane and Nappy Roots.

Nappy Roots was the headliner of the festival, and the festival was partly sponsored by them.

Junior Azlyn Goodyke, who is a member of Broken Record, said “We’re very honored to work with other artists and receive this special  opportunity to play to help Oscar Cross.”

The festival was totally family friendly and free, but donations were accepted. If you didn’t go, make sure to check it out next year!
