Are you ready to get hype this Friday? Paducah Tilghman plays Taylor County at home at 7 p.m.! As always, you can purchase your online tickets on the app GoFan. The theme is yet to be decided, but themes for every game can easily be found on posts through the pep club Instagram page (@ptpepclub_).  

 The football game last Friday against Hopkinsville was Tilghman’s Senior Night game. Football players that graduate this year are seniors Layton Davis, Jordan Stubblefield, Nolan Waller, Khiland Moss, Lebran McMullen, Jordan Baker, Jorauyn White, Ra’Kwon Robinson, Jeremiah Brown, Chris Allen, J.T. Adams, Kharentez Moore, T.J. Davis, JoJo Starks, Ah’Marea Laster and Wyatt Sanders.  

The student section came dressed in pink in support of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Tilghman ended up losing with a final score of 24-30. The team’s touchdowns were scored by Jordauyn White (12) and Malachi Rider (11).

The game this Friday will start the playoff season. The playoffs are a series of tournament games that will eventually lead to the regional and state games. The Pep Club and Tilghman students need to show up and dressed in support of the first playoff game, as the game should be exciting to watch.

Henderson is a good school with a good football program, but I think Tilghman will be able to get this game in the bag. Even though our turnout wasn’t great last week, I know the Tilghman Tornado will pull through with our upcoming playoff game! Go big blue!
