As the end of the 2022-2023 school year comes to a close, there are many upcoming events planned to celebrate and award our seniors for all of their hard work.

PT’s prom is first on the list of events, and will be on April 29 at 7 p.m. There is a change in venue this year, however; it will be at the Carson Center. Prom is open to an upperclassman, and any underclassman that has an upperclassman date. Tickets will be available as the date nears.

The next event honors seniors and other selected students for their hard work and dedication; honors night is May 9 at 6 p.m. in Tilghman’s auditorium.

Senior signing day, an afternoon dedicated to recognizing the colleges out seniors have chosen, will be May 12 at 12:30 p.m. in the gym lobby.

On May 15 at 7:30 a.m. in the blue room, Tilghman’s traditional senior breakfast will take place, and visits to Paducah Middle and Paducah district elementary schools for seniors to walk the halls one last time and visit with previous teachers is to follow at 9:30 a.m.

Part of Project Graduation this year is a night at Atomic City on May 16th, where pizza, drinks, games and activities are included. This is from 7-10 p.m., and there will be drawings for prizes throughout the nights.

The next morning, May 17, graduation practice will take place 7 a.m. in the auditorium. Seniors, make sure you are present for this!

The senior trip to Holiday World is the next day on May 18, and seniors need to be at the school at 5:15 a.m.

The long-awaited and well-deserved graduation will start at 7 p.m. on May 19 at PT.

Immediately following graduation, there will be a reception at PT for graduates only, where there will be food, drinks, and photos, and each grad will receive a gift. You must be present at the reception to receive this gift, however.
