Voice Box: Tilghman Student’s Favorite Activity During the Fall

Voice Box: Tilghman Student’s Favorite Activity During the Fall

It is officially fall season! Fall break has ended and students at Tilghman are starting to participate in various fall activities and continue to stay busy during this time of year. There is cooler weather outside and enables outdoor activities without getting too hot, but also prepares us for the cold weather yet to come. We must savor this beautiful weather! Here’s what Tilghman students have to say about their favorite things to do:

Madelyn Bowling (9) says, “I love to celebrate halloween and visit haunted houses.” Halloween is celebrated on October 31st, right during the fall season, and is known to many as their favorite holiday. On Halloween, you get to dress in fun costumes, be with the ones you love, and eat yummy treats. This holiday is all about being spooky with one another and gets everyone even more excited for the fall season.

Avery Brown (10) says she “loves to visit pumpkin patches” in the fall. Pumpkin patches are a great family friendly activity for the seasonal festivities.

Dawson Black (11) says, “Fall break is my favorite part of the season.” For lots of students fall break is a time to relax, go on vacation, or make a little extra money, and can be very beneficial to many students well-being.

Hattie Crockett (12) says, “I love to visit the pumpkin patches and go to Talon Falls with friends.” Along with pumpkin patches, Talon Falls Scream Park is a popular spot for thrill-seekers during the fall and Halloween season. Talon Falls consists of a spooky hayride, and two haunted houses, one of which is a 30 minute walkthrough!

Tilghman students love to visit pumpkin patches, haunted houses, go on fall break, and celebrate Halloween during the fall. This fall seems to be the best one yet, and it’s not even over! Trick or treat!
