Beta club is open for anyone 9th through 12th grade who has a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Joining this club will also look good on your resume for college, if you plan on going.  The goal for this club is to contribute and get involved in the community with helpful services.

As of 2022 there is an accumulated amount of 66 attendee of Beta club with a minimum amount of meetings throughout the year. There is not a limit of how many people can be in the group and there’s always room available for anyone wanting to participate of the group. For first time beginners there is an acceptance fee of $35, after that there’s no fee. Even though Beta club encourages you to work together as a group, you are not limited to working in a group, as long as you have accumulated at least 15 hours of volunteer hours, you will do just fine. If you are interested in group work, the club usually participates in the Haunted House at Morgan Elementary School, and has also been invited to assist with the first annual Heather Price Invitational Academic Team Tournament.

“ I would encourage students who receive an invitation to investigate our club. It looks nice on college applications if you are involved in prestigious academic clubs, such as Beta Club. It shows college recruiters that you are a quality student who also cares about helping in the community. If students have any questions, they can contact me in room 204.” – Leo McKinely (Director of Beta Club)
