    PTHS Drama Dept. Puts on Fall Musical

    You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown is a 1967 musical with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner and (in a 1999 revision) Andrew Lippa. It is based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his comic strip Peanuts. The cast has been working consistently to get this show fully blocked, choreographed, and with music learned. The cast has been working since Sept 1st, and now it is finally show time! The show opens Friday, November 17-18 at 7pm and closes Sunday, November 19th, at 2:30pm. For student general admission, it costs $5 and for adult general admission it costs $10. For online ticketing and reserved seating, you can get access them on www.showtix4u.com. However, you can get general admission tickets at the door.

    CoryOn is a Junior. He is the Arts and Entertainment Editor. He is a part of African American Leadership Club, PT Drama/Choir, Speech and Debate, PT Alliance, Ed's Rising, Prime Rib, Student Ambassador, Student Council (Liaison), and the Upward Bound Math and Science Program. He is the Youth Chorus Student Leader for the Paducah Symphony Chorus and teaching assistant for Market House Theatre. He also is the Vice Chair for the Paducah Bank Teen Ambassador Alumni Board. This past summer, he graduated from the Kentucky Governors School for the Arts as a Vocal Music Major. Recently, he was the recipient of the 2nd place prize at the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Talent Show.
