Seniors Ben LeBuhn and Leah Tyrrell were named the Paducah Tilghman Rotary Scholars for September 2020. The Scholars are chosen by the Paducah Rotary Club for being seniors who demonstrate leadership, academic excellence, and community service. LeBuhn and Tyrrell will be attending rotary meetings weekly for the month of September.

LeBuhn is a member of the football team, tennis team, golf team, academic team and band. He is recognized as a PTHS Student Ambassador and a Paducah Pathfinder. LeBuhn is also involved in the Sustainability Club and National Honor Society. After high school, he plans on attending a four-year university and is unsure of a specific major, but he is interested in studying history, political science or environmental science.

Leah is captain of the varsity soccer team, vice president of the National Honor Society, Secretary of Future Business Leaders of America and the editor of the Tilghman Bell. She also participates in Interact Club, Pep Club and Mock Trial. After graduation, she hopes to attend a four-year university in the northeast or on the east coast and major in chemistry or some type of international relations program.
