The Innovation Hub Dazzles Students

Maddie VanderBoegh, Staff Writer

The Innovation Hub at Paducah Tilghman High School has been a large attraction during this school year so far. It has been under construction for quite some time now. Students and faculty have been patiently waiting for it to be finished because everyone has been excited to be able to have classes there.

The hub was completed while school was not in session during the summer and during COVID-19. The building contains various classes such as art, physics, accounting and many more. However, some of the classes are virtual in the hub until Sept. 28 due to restrictions. Inside you can also find a coffee shop that you can go to in the mornings or after lunch if you want. There is a large screen and a social staircase where presentations can be held.

Most students at Tilghman have a class in the hub, and if they don’t, they wish they did or they should at some point during their high school experience. The hub provides students with a new environment, which can be beneficial in many ways. Many students can agree that the hub is one of their favorite parts of the 20-21 school year thus far. It also prevents students from having to walk in the rain and snow because there is an entry from the breezeway.

The long-awaited arrival of the innovation hub is finally here, and it did not disappoint. The future is bright for the new hub and Paducah Tilghman High School.
