Dunkin Donuts vs. Starbucks

Maddie VanderBoegh

Dunkin Donuts is obviously way better than Starbucks in many ways. For starters, it is cheaper. A medium coffee from Starbucks would cost you almost $4, while at Dunkin you could get it for about $2.50. Also, when have you ever bought a donut from Starbucks? Exactly. Dunkin has a wider variety of food that you can choose from at any time of the day.

It is proven that Starbucks roasts their coffee beans until they are practically burnt, while Dunkin roasts them until they are just right, which leads to the argument that Dunkin’s coffee tastes better than Starbucks. Even though Dunkin doesn’t make complex coffees like Starbucks, at least the taste of their coffee is spot on. Would you want to pay money for a drink that tastes burnt? Didn’t think so.

The location of Starbucks is not very convenient, especially for Tilghman kids who want coffee or breakfast in the mornings. Starbucks is all the way across town, while Dunkin is just right up the road from Tilghman.

The cost, location, and taste all play a very large factor in where you want to get your drink and/or breakfast from. Which do you prefer now, Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks?
