This is Ms. Kelly Cunningham’s first year here at PT. She is an English teacher who teaches mainly seniors. She has always enjoyed helping other learn new things and understand information they may not have previously comprehended, so, that’s what inspired her to want to teach. Outside of English, she wants all of her students to learn that, “as long as you put your mind to something and you have the right mindset, anything is possible. It may take hard work to accomplish your goals, but it will worth it in the end. Ms. Cunningham attended SIU-Carbondale for her undergraduate work. In addition to that, she attended both Ashford and Murray State University for her master’s degree. Currently, she is enrolled at McKendree University. Even though this is her first year here at PT, this is not her first year teaching. She has been teaching high school classes for five years. She has taught at the collegiate level, too, teaching GED Classes at WKCTC. If she had a career other than teaching, she would be a traveling author and photographer. She loves to travel to different cities, including small towns, too. Welcome aboard, Ms. Cunningham!
