Are you interested in health? If you answered yes, then you should join Hosa. Hosa stands for Health Occupations Students of American, and they strive to develop leadership and technical medical skills. To be in this club you will have to pay a fee of $20 and be willing to compete in Hosa tournaments if chosen. There are around 20 people in the club as of 2023 but everyone won’t be chosen to compete in the tournaments.
Hosa encourages everyone and anyone to join if they find the club interesting and entertaining to be a part of. Hosa also promotes the club members to work as a group, but it’s not required. To be in this club you will need to be able to meet bi-monthly and have an interest in the medical field (You don’t have to be in any medical classes). While Hosa always looks for new attendees, there is a cut off date. For 2023 the cut-off date was September 29th. To make the club a little more organized, there are student positions such as: President, VP, Secretary, and Treasurer.
