The Downfall of Jojo Siwa

“JOJO HAVE YOU LEARNED NOTHING”
The Downfall of Jojo Siwa

Jojo Siwa, you may know her from her role, as a dancer, on Dance Moms a very popular show on “Lifetime”. Though she was quite successful in her early years as a dancer later a child popstar creating songs such as “boomerang”, however she has taken a pivot with the way she presents herself and the music she is sending out. She has lately drawn a line between herself and the title “child popstar”, now presenting herself as an adult artist. She has put out songs such as “karma” that have gone viral but for all the wrong reasons, she claims to have “made it as an artist” but the public tends to take her music more as a joke or publicity stunt. The public is not only upset with this new music she is sending out but also who she has befriended as of late, becoming friends with people such as James Charles, Colleen Ballanger, and Shane Dawson. These youtubers have been exposed as groomers and been outcasted from their platform, but Jojo continues to be friends with them as if becoming friends with child groomers will distance herself from her child audience. Speaking of harming kids, Jojo has also been accused of mistreating the dancers on her show “Jojos Dance Revolution“, a show where she trains children to become professional dancers, similar to dance moms. According to multiple different sources the producers of Jojos show tried to get the children to cry on camera. They also allegedly pushed a child who has spina bifida, a birth defect where children’s spines don’t develop properly, to the point of her bleeding out of her belly button. Instead of taking this seriously and aiding the child Jojos Mom, Jesslyn, allegedly told her to put a maxi pad on it to protect her costume. Some people speculate that she may have been trying to imitate Abby Lee Miller, the teacher on dance moms, who was infamous for yelling at kids to make them do what she wanted. Jojo even defended Abby in a recent interview saying everything she said was “right” and that all the insults she threw at them were to help them become better dancers. This shows a pattern in who Jojo decides to befriend and defend. Whoever Jojo decides to be friends with or whatever music she decides to send out she will never be as popular as she once was, or will she?
